I gave him a quick rundown of my income and expenses and he assured me he could get the loan done. Needless to say he definitely did it! He was diligent about getting any letters or documentation we would need in order to make the loan process smooth. Scott was very informative about any questions I had regarding the process and answered texts, emails, and phone calls in a timely manner. If you are shopping for lenders and cannot decide who to go with, stop searching and call Scott.
Scott helped me purchased my first starter-home (condo) in 2012 using an FHA loan. As a first time home buyer, it was a scary experience, but Scott's knowledge and constant communication throughout the loan process made financing go as smoothly as possible.
Flash forward six years, as of February 2018, I needed a conventional loan to purchase my forever home. We told Scott when we needed to close and he made it happen, with days to spare. All costs were communicated up front and the rate was competitive, if not better than other lenders.
As a repeat customer, my experience with Scott has always been beyond outstanding. If you need a home loan (with a great rate) or need guidance on how or when the right time is to finance a house, I highly recommend a sit down with Scott. Scott is a no pressure no BS type of person, which is absolutely necessary when you decide to make a large purchase. Don't be afraid or embarrass to be upfront with Scott with all the details of your financial situation. Whether you have good or bad credit, he will work very hard to find a loan that fits your needs or give you guidance on what steps you need to take to get ready for a home purchase. He is extremely knowledgeable on the loan process and works very hard to take the "STRESS" out of financing a home.

We were referred to Scott at AMH by a friend, so we gave him a call. Scott was fantastic, he walked us through the whole process, literally making it as simple as possible, because lets be honest, the paperwork is a nightmare!
Step by step, he was there to answer all our questions, no matter how lame they may have been to him.
Overall, the process was fairly painless (with the exception of closing which is not his fault lol) and I give him 5 stars all day long. Very professional, and keeps his clients needs in mind, I would highly recommend giving Scott a call if your looking to buy a home!!

I found Scott through my family friend who worked with him for years through a local realtor. She has been telling me for years "If you ever want to buy a home, talk to Scott Lawson!" and boy was she correct.

Scott was an excellent resource through the process of procuring our FHA loan to buy our home. He was always available, quick to respond to e-mails and calls, and very reassuring through the very stressful process. He was ever patient with my constant questions and seems extremely knowledgeable about the world of home loans and banking. Scott is extremely honest, tell it like it is, and will give you a great idea right off the bat if what an appropriate loan will be for your family as well as helping you to determine what you can feasibly afford. He seems very focused on great customer service and would call us anytime, day or night, to make sure that our paperwork was done and if something got missed was on it right away to get it corrected.

I felt well taken care of, informed, and most of all I trusted Scott through the entire process of our loan. I feel like in this day and age, having that trust, is extremely important for home buyers.

I would go back to work with Scott in a heartbeat! Thank you for a wonderful experience and thank you for helping our home dreams come true!

In 2012 I started to work on my credit to buy a home. 2008 job loss did a number on it, and everyone i talked to said I could not do a mortgage. After a year of working on my score, i got it above the FHA minimum. I applied with a couple of friends the are mortgage people and they told me i still could not get qualified.

I found my way to Scott with a forum of all places. He told me I can be approved and buy a home. I completed the application and he was able to get me approved withing 48 hours. He told my wife and i to start house hunting.

Scott put in a lot of hours, always promptly answered his phone and is clearly a hard worker. It is very difficult to find good people great at there job for anything and with an important purchase like a house, I was very happy Scott was working with me.

The loan was being processed during gov shut down and it caused delays, my Real estate agent was worried about our contract deadline and offered little solutions. Scott got on the phone with the sellers and that same day we received the extension that we needed.

Buying a home is a frustrating and difficult process, Scott was able to make it as easy as possible and literally do what no one else could do.

Thanks again Scott and thanks for the good deal.
